If you have an unused Dubai tourist visa or UAE entry permit and wish to cancel it, UTM Travel & Visa can help you request cancellation through the appropriate issuing channel. Whether cancellation is necessary depends on the permit type, sponsor, and immigration record.
Tourist entry permits: commonly valid for entry within 60 days after issuance, subject to the terms printed on the issued permit.
GCC resident entry permits: UAE Government guidance specifies 30 days from issuance to enter, with a separate permitted stay after entry.
These entry-by deadlines are different from the number of days a visitor may stay after entering the UAE. Always check the exact dates and category on your issued permit.
- Share a copy of the visa/entry permit and relevant passport details with UTM.
- We check the issuing channel, sponsorship and whether formal cancellation is required.
- When eligible, submit the cancellation request and pay the UTM total service price of US$55.
- Wait for the immigration authority’s confirmation. Processing depends on the authority; GDRFA Dubai lists an expected completion time of about 48 hours for its cancellation service.
Once formal cancellation is confirmed, you may normally submit a new visa application using your existing passport or a renewed passport, subject to immigration requirements and approval. Do not assume that an expired or unused entry permit has already been formally cancelled.
