Exit Guarantee waiver cases
If any of the cases below applies, we may waive the Exit Guarantee request.
When is it assessed?
Waiver decisions are typically reviewed based on your profile and travel history, and assessed case-by-case.

Previous applications with UTM
If you applied for any type of visa with UTM more than once in the past.

Multiple UAE entries
If you have entered the UAE more than once during the last 12 months.

Transit stay under 48 hours
If you are connecting through a UAE airport and intend to stay in the UAE less than 48 hours.

Employment / business profile + age
If you have a reputable employment/business status and your age is over 35 years.

Valid GCC residence
If you are resident in one of the GCC countries and can provide proof of valid residence.

Valid residence in selected countries
If you have a residence in any European country, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Russia, Japan, Malaysia, or Australia.

Age
If you are over 45 years of age.
Important note
UTM reserves the right to claim or waive the Exit Guarantee for each file on a case-by-case basis. The guarantee is often calculated at $300–$500 per person.
