Pay with Tabby — Visa & Travel Installments in UAE & Saudi Arabia
UTM offers direct Tabby checkout for eligible customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The normal installment period is different in each country. Other customers can pay by card, with Tabby card-based financing only where separately available and approved.
Where UTM offers Tabby and for how long
UTM offers Tabby directly only to eligible customers in the UAE or Saudi Arabia when Tabby appears on their payment link. Customer nationality alone does not determine eligibility; Tabby assesses the account, country, purchase, and payment method.
United Arab Emirates
UTM’s normal direct Tabby installment period for eligible UAE customers is 3 months. The final schedule is displayed by Tabby before checkout.
Saudi Arabia
UTM’s normal direct Tabby installment period for eligible Saudi customers is 4 months. Tabby may apply a processing fee to a four-payment plan; the total and any fees are displayed before approval.
Customers in other countries
UTM does not offer direct Tabby installments outside the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Eligible customers may use a Tabby-issued payment card through UTM’s normal card checkout only where that card is available and accepted. This is not UTM direct Tabby checkout.
Longer plans and additional fees
Customers may have longer payment options, such as 6, 8, or 12 months, depending on the Tabby product and their eligibility. Plans beyond the usual term may carry fees or financing charges payable to Tabby, not additional UTM installment charges. Tabby also states that some Saudi 4-payment transactions may carry a processing fee. The exact terms are determined by Tabby and must be reviewed before payment. Longer plans and a Tabby-issued card are never guaranteed.
How to register with Tabby and pay UTM
For direct UTM Tabby checkout in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, you can usually register during your first eligible payment. Customers using an eligible Tabby-issued card follow a separate card-payment process below.
Get your UTM payment link
Apply for your visa or request a travel booking. UTM will send a secure invoice or payment link when the service is ready for payment.
Choose Tabby at checkout
Open your UTM payment link. If you are eligible in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, choose Tabby when it appears among the payment methods.
Register or sign in
Enter your local UAE or Saudi mobile number, verify the SMS code, and provide documents requested by Tabby (such as an Emirates ID in the UAE or a Saudi National ID/Iqama in Saudi Arabia).
Review your installment plan
Review the normal 3-month UAE or 4-month Saudi plan, as offered, together with payment dates, any deposit, and fees shown by Tabby.
Confirm and manage payments
Complete payment only after reviewing and accepting the final Tabby terms. Use your Tabby account or app to follow approved installments and due dates.
Paying with a Tabby-issued card instead
For customers outside UTM’s direct Tabby checkout countries, or customers seeking repayment terms beyond the usual local plan, a separately approved Tabby-issued Visa card may be an option only if Tabby offers that card to the customer and allows the transaction.
- Confirm in your Tabby account that you have an eligible Tabby-issued payment card and that the UTM purchase is permitted.
- Open UTM’s secure payment link and choose the credit/debit card option, not direct Tabby checkout. Use your eligible Tabby-issued Visa card if accepted by the payment gateway.
- Arrange any split-payment or extended repayment plan directly with Tabby, where supported. Tabby may charge additional fees. UTM receives a normal card payment and does not manage or guarantee the subsequent installments.
A regular bank-issued credit card is not automatically a Tabby card. Tabby Card availability is country- and account-specific; Tabby currently describes its UAE card as subject to UAE residency requirements. Do not assume that all Tabby account holders in other countries have an eligible card.
Eligibility for UTM direct Tabby checkout
UTM direct Tabby checkout is available only for qualifying UAE and Saudi Arabia customers. Tabby determines approval independently.
- UAE: generally at least 18, UAE residency, a valid Emirates ID, local phone number, eligible card and acceptable Tabby account/credit assessment.
- Saudi Arabia: generally at least 18, Saudi residency, valid National ID or Iqama, KSA phone number, eligible payment method and acceptable Tabby account/credit assessment.
- Other countries: UTM does not enable the direct Tabby checkout option for them. A separately eligible Tabby-issued card may work as a regular card payment only where supported.
Eligibility, plan duration and additional fees are determined by Tabby and confirmed at checkout, not guaranteed by UTM.
Frequently asked questions
What are UTM’s usual Tabby plans in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?
The usual direct checkout is 3 months in the UAE and 4 months in Saudi Arabia, subject to availability and Tabby approval. Any charges displayed by Tabby still apply.
Can customers living outside the UAE and Saudi Arabia select Tabby on a UTM invoice?
No. UTM does not offer the direct Tabby checkout option for those countries. If Tabby separately issues the customer an eligible Visa card, a regular card payment may be possible where accepted, with repayment terms arranged with Tabby.
Can I pay by normal credit card and automatically turn it into Tabby installments?
Not necessarily. Only an eligible Tabby-issued card or financing product can offer Tabby repayment features. A standard bank credit card by itself does not create a Tabby installment plan.
Can I request 6, 8 or 12 months instead of the normal period?
Only if Tabby makes those options available to you through the relevant product and purchase. Longer plans may have additional Tabby fees or financing charges.
Do Saudi Arabia’s usual 4 payments always have no fees?
